BioBrigid is a nurse practitioner providing care for patients with complex spine conditions including spinal deformity and spinal tumors. She joined the Stanford Neurosurgery team in March 2017 after completing her MSN – Family Nurse Practitioner degree at UCSF. Brigid started her career as an Army Nurse working in Korea, Hawaii, and Afghanistan. Following active duty she moved to California where she first was a travel nurse at the Stanford Neuroscience Clinic and then worked as a nurse at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Pediatric Brain Center for four years. Brigid is a member of Sigma Theta Tau and the California Association of Nurse Practitioners.

BioWithin a diverse technical environment, I lead my team into providing high quality and efficient desktop support in every aspect related to computer resources for Stanford University. My goal has always been to create a professional, secure and organized work environment so work policies and procedures can flow smoothly through the organization. My desktop support team provides level 2 investigation, diagnosis, and resolution when processing tickets and executing requests. I develop standard operating procedures and manage escalated tickets from our clients when supervision is necessary. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Case Western Reserve University and her Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) degree from The Ohio State University.
