BioMy research seeks to reveal the physical, molecular, and cellular bases of multicellular organization. To this end, I use planarian capable of whole-body regeneration as the model system and employ an integrated approach, combining organismic functional studies, genomics tools development, and quantitative physical modeling.
I am interested in a lot of things: developmental biology, systems biology, biochemistry, and statistical physics. I also spend time developing sequencing and fluorescence imaging technologies required for depicting concrete biological systems. -
