Priya Nair
Ph.D. Student in Bioengineering, admitted Autumn 2020
BioI received my Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Industrial Design from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020. During my time at Georgia Tech, I worked as an undergraduate researcher in Dr. Ajit Yoganathan's Cardiovascular Fluid Mechanics Lab. My project was focused on studying the contribution of foreign materials to thrombosis in transcatheter aortic valves using an in vitro flow loop. Beyond my research interests, I was also actively involved in the Society of Women Engineers, promoting outreach activities and creating mentorship opportunities for women in STEM.

Radhika Narain
Graduate, Bioengineering
BioRadhika Narain has a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, where she focused on engineering tumor and wound microenvironments to enhance cancer immunotherapy. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from BITS Pilani, Dubai, culminating in a research project at MIT on antibody-based tools for infectious diseases and cancer. Radhika spent three years at AbbVie as a drug discovery scientist, developing immunomodulatory antibody drug conjugates for fibrosis. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioengineering, focusing on breast cancer research, and studying Stanford's Biodesign process to improve early breast cancer detection in rural India.
Beyond her academic and professional pursuits, Radhika is dedicated to cultural activities. She practices Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance, and enjoys exploring arts and diverse cultures. Ambitious in bridging cancer research with practical healthcare solutions, Radhika aims to make significant contributions to medical science and healthcare entrepreneurship.
