    BioDr. Timothy Ellis-Caleo is a board-certified, fellowship-trained medical oncologist with Stanford Health Care. He is also a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Oncology at Stanford University School of Medicine.

    Dr. Ellis-Caleo specializes in caring for people with thoracic and gastrointestinal cancers. His clinical interests include immunotherapy and precision oncology, with a focus on bringing the latest advances in cancer treatment to patients. He works closely with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals, values, and individual needs while incorporating evidence-based therapies and access to innovative clinical trials when appropriate.

    As a physician-researcher, Dr. Ellis-Caleo focuses on improving treatments for patients with solid tumors through translational research and clinical investigation. His research has explored the tumor microenvironment and its role in predicting response to immunotherapy, molecular biomarkers for lung cancer, and the use of artificial intelligence to improve cancer care and surveillance.

    Dr. Ellis-Caleo has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in leading medical journals, including Nature Cancer, Nature Communications, NPJ Digital Medicine, and Journal of Clinical Oncology (JCO) Precision Oncology. He has presented his research at national and international meetings, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting and the World Conference on Lung Cancer.

    Dr. Ellis-Caleo is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society.
