  BioAydin is a pediatrician, educator, and engineer whose interests lie at the intersection of technology, health equity, and children’s health. Aydin completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin and went on to complete an MD and MBA at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School and McCombs School of Business. He has a keen interest in the medical technology space, having contributed as a researcher, mentor, inventor, and consultant in both the academic and industry settings. He is a general pediatrician at the Palo Alto Medical Foundational San Carlos office and serves as the Medical Director for Digital Patient Experience at Sutter Health. At Stanford, he serves as Assistant Director for Digital Health and AI at the Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign where he helps teach the Biodesign for Digital Health and Building for Digital Health courses. His research focuses on the role of wearable devices for as diagnostic monitors in children and how digital health can be used to expand and integrate access to care.
