Priya Fielding-Singh
Postdoctoral Scholar, SCRDP/ Heart Disease Prevention
BioI am a Sociologist and Postdoctoral Fellow in Cardiovascular Disease Prevention at the Stanford Prevention Research Center. My research examines health, gender, and social inequality.
My primary research agenda investigates health disparities across class, race, and gender in the United States. I draw on both qualitative and quantitative methods to understand how neighborhoods, schools, and families shape our health behaviors and outcomes. My work has been published in journals such as Social Science & Medicine, Obesity, Sociological Science, and the Journal of Adolescent Health.
I hold a Ph.D. in Sociology from Stanford University, a M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Bremen, and a B.S. in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University. -
Quentin Loisel
Postdoctoral Scholar, SCRDP/ Heart Disease Prevention
BioQuentin Loisel is a postdoctoral researcher at the Meta-Research Innovation Center at Stanford (METRICS), where his work focuses on how artificial intelligence is transforming scientific practice and how researchers can use AI to produce better, more robust, and more equitable science. His broader agenda is to help define a hybrid model of scientific inquiry that deliberately and transparently combines human judgment and artificial intelligence.
His research sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, epistemology of science, and research systems. He studies how AI tools reshape knowledge production across the research lifecycle, from problem formulation and data analysis to writing, peer review, and governance, and examines the epistemic, methodological, and institutional consequences of human–AI collaboration in science. His work aims to move beyond risk-focused or purely technical perspectives by developing evidence-based, researcher-centric models for integrating AI into everyday scientific practice.
Before joining Stanford, he completed a Marie Skłodowska-Curie PhD on digital technologies for co-creation, combining cognitive science, collective intelligence, and participatory research. He has co-funded and is coordinating the Artificial Intelligence working group of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), which is a researcher-driven community of practice on AI in research. He also advises a social company, called Health Cascade, on how to integrate AI in teams to solve complex societal problems. -
Luka Ojemaye

Current Research and Scholarly InterestsCurrent research centers on advancing athlete health and performance through an interdisciplinary lens that integrates clinical rehabilitation, biomechanics, and health equity. His work explores injury prevention, return-to-play strategies, and the psychosocial dimensions of care—particularly among underrepresented athletic populations.

Michael Royer
Postdoctoral Scholar, SCRDP/ Heart Disease Prevention
Current Research and Scholarly InterestsDr. Royer's research interests include food insecurity, eating behaviors, and physical activity. His research primarily aims to remove barriers hindering individuals from accessing healthy food. Dr. Royer seeks to advance public health by sustainably promoting healthy eating and food security through innovative and evidence-based research approaches. Through his research, he is motivated to promote food security, healthy eating, and physical activity toward the prevention of chronic disease.

Alejandro Sandoval Lentisco
Postdoctoral Scholar, SCRDP/ Heart Disease Prevention
BioAlejandro completed his PhD in Psychology at the University of Murcia, Spain, in 2024. His doctoral research focused on assessing transparency and risk of bias in psychology meta-analyses. Prior to this, he obtained an MSc in Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience from the University of Granada, Spain. In addition to evaluating methodological practices in evidence synthesis and empirical studies, he is interested in a wide range of meta-scientific questions, such as how science self-corrects and how research should be evaluated.
