Ning Lu

BioNing Lu received a joint Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering and Scientific Computing from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA, in 2023. Previously, she earned a B.S.E. degree (highest honors) in Biomedical Engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2018. From May 2022 to September 2022, she worked at Meta (formerly Facebook) Reality Labs as a research scientist intern on ultrasonic eye tracking for AR/VR wearable devices, in Redmond, Washington, USA. Her research interests include ultrasound instrumentation, ultrasound therapy, ultrasound imaging algorithms, and AI in healthcare.

BioI am a Postdoctoral Scholar with Professor James Zou at Stanford University. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA, where I was a member of the UCLA Natural Language Processing Group (UCLA NLP) and the Center for Vision, Cognition, Learning, and Autonomy (VCLA). Previously, I earned my M.S. in Computer Science at Tsinghua University. My research has been funded by the Amazon Ph.D. Fellowship, Bloomberg Data Science Ph.D. Fellowship, Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship, UCLA Dissertation Year Fellowship, and the NeurIPS Scholar Award.

BioDian received her Master's degree in Cognitive Neurosciences from University College London, and her Ph.D. in Clinical Neurosciences from the University of Cambridge. Her previous work focused on default-mode-network functional connectivity and inter-network interactions across different brain states. She is interested in consciousness studies involving self-related cognition using intracranial EEG and electrical stimulation and precision mapping of anatomy and function by leveraging computational modeling.

Qianheng Ma
Postdoctoral Scholar, Psychiatry
BioQianheng (Jessica) Ma obtained her PhD degree of biostatistics at University of Chicago under the supervision of Prof. Donald Hedeker and is the 2021 recipient of the dissertation grant from Society of Multivariate Experimental Psychology (SMEP). Her current research focus are modern statistical methods and deep learning techniques for mining (multivariate) intensive longitudinal data especially psychological/behavioral measures collected by mobile/wearable devices. Besides research, she loves playing the piano and is good at Jazz improvisation and she can speak fluent Cantonese.
