MSTP StudentBioGita Abhiraman is currently an MD-PhD candidate in the lab of Dr. Christopher Garcia, where she researches the structure and function of immune receptors. She is a PhD Candidate in the Immunology Program at Stanford. Gita received her bachelor's degree in physics with a focus in biophysics from Harvard University in 2018. She previously studied tumor-immune dynamics and helped to engineer sortase, a bacterial enzyme, for in vivo labeling under the mentorship of Dr. Stephanie Dougan at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Matthew Abraham

BioMatthew is a healthcare leader with 15 years of experience in Strategy and Operations, Revenue Cycle Management, IT Portfolio Management, Digital health strategy, and Population Health. He currently serves as the Administrative Director of Ambulatory Systems and Services at Stanford Healthcare overseeing technology deployments across Oncology, Transplant and Ambulatory clinical areas. Most recent projects include expansion of digital health solutions (video visits and e-consults) to the broader SHC ecosystem, implementing a precision medicine solution for the Oncology molecular tumor board and optimizing referrals across the enterprise. Prior to Stanford, Matthew worked at Deloitte within their Strategy and Operations practice where he advised health systems across the country on a wide variety of initiatives including mergers and acquisitions, market development initiatives, total cost of ownership models etc. Before Deloitte, Matthew was at Accenture within their Healthcare Center of Excellence.
