BioWalter A. De Brouwer, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor at the Stanford School of Medicine. As a core faculty member at CERC DICE, he is the course director for “Innovation in Healthcare: from idea to incorporation,” which includes a bi-weekly presentation. She has extensive clinical trial experience in multiple fields, including but not limited to cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, infectious diseases, psychiatry, and rheumatology.

Current Role at StanfordCancer biologist specializing in the development of novel chemotherapeutic agents and in mechanisms of drug resistance. Current research ranges from molecular studies to further understand the heterogeneity of T-cell lymphomas, to translational studies of molecular determinants of therapeutic response, and clinical trials that use the body’s immune system to fight cancer cells.
