BioTyler Pugh is currently a Research Assistant at Stanford University concurrently working towards a Master's at the University of Oxford. Before this, Tyler studied at Virginia Tech as a Grado Scholar where he received Honors Diplomas in both Industrial and Systems Engineering and Spanish, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While there, Tyler earned the Rhodes Scholarship Endorsement from Virginia Tech, spoke as a TEDx Speaker, conducted research as an International Scholar and Fellow at the University of Oxford, and was selected for Undergraduate Student of the Year.
Tyler's Master's Thesis will examine the intersection between simulation modeling and policy surrounding sexual violence intake, employing data science to inform social intervention on international scales.
