Daniel Rubin
Professor of Biomedical Data Science, of Radiology (Integrative Biomedical Imaging Informatics at Stanford), of Medicine (Biomedical Informatics Research) and, by courtesy, of Ophthalmology
Current Research and Scholarly InterestsMy research interest is imaging informatics--ways computers can work with images to leverage their rich information content and to help physicians use images to guide personalized care. Work in our lab thus lies at the intersection of biomedical informatics and imaging science.

Shai Waldrip
Postdoctoral Scholar, Biomedical Informatics
BioDr. Waldrip is a Propel Postdoctoral Scholar in the Boussard lab. Her research aims to develop a digital twin for breast cancer patients that will ultimately support the advancement of precision medicine and improve clinical decision-making and patient-centered care. Specifically, she will use machine learning, deep learning, and mechanistic modeling using multimodal and multiscale data to fulfill her goal. She will also create a framework to evaluate bias and fairness of the algorithms as well as their clinical feasibility and utility. Her research interests include clinical AI, precision oncology, health equity, and bias mitigation.
