Megan Zhang
Science and Engineering Associate, Oceans
BioI am a Science and Engineering Associate supporting oceans research at Stanford University’s Hopkins Marine Station, where I apply a cross-disciplinary skillset spanning mechanical design, electrical engineering, and systems integration. My background bridges academic, industry, and startup settings, with experience in user-centered product design, rapid prototyping, systems testing, embedded programming, and technical communication. Much of my work has explored topics such as health technology, transportation systems, and sustainability, which reflects my broader interest in projects that connect biology, engineering, and planetary health. I am especially drawn to efforts where hands-on and creative problem-solving can drive meaningful scientific discovery.
