Mandy Tao

BioMandy Tao is a healthcare strategist with experience across global biopharma, hospital operations, and health policy in the US, Germany, Switzerland, and China. She has led digital transformation for a major hospital system, managed top global accounts at MilliporeSigma (Merck KGaA), and served as Strategy Director / Chief of Staff to EVP at Merck KGaA in Frankfurt.
Mandy is also a dedicated community builder. She served on the Leadership Team of the Lean In Frankfurt Circle, where her work was recognized by Sheryl Sandberg as part of LeanIn.org's global efforts, and served on the Harvard Graduate Council. At Stanford, she is a Stanford Graduate Public Service Fellow, with interests spanning longevity and aging, health policy, and data visualization.
Mandy holds an MPH from Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, and a BA in Economics from the University of Waterloo. At Stanford Medicine, she is building on this foundation to turn complex health-system challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions.
