Chao Yin

BioChao Yin is a Q-FARM Bloch Fellow at Stanford University. He earned his B.Sc. in Physics from Peking University (2016–2020), and completed his Ph.D. in Physics at University of Colorado Boulder (2020–2025) under the supervision of Prof. Andrew Lucas. BioDr Alphonsus Yip is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Department of Dermatology at Stanford University and the Stanford Center for Digital Health, mentored by Eleni Linos. His research focuses on dermatology, artificial intelligence, and digital health, with an emphasis on personalized care and remote monitoring. Previously, he trained as a Clinical Research Fellow at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, contributing to clinical trials, digital tool evaluation, and NLP-based analyses of patient experiences in atopic dermatitis. At Stanford, he leads a national survey on healthcare professionals’ perspectives on AI and collaborates on AI-driven approaches for pediatric and rare skin disease detection.
