Kittipong Limchuchua
Ph.D. Student in Energy Science and Engineering, admitted Autumn 2026
BioKittipong Limchuchua is a first-year PhD student in the Stanford Energy Science and Engineering department. He received a scholarship from the Thailand national oil and gas company (NOC) to pursue his bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering at Texas A&M University from 2017 to 2020. After graduating, he joined the NOC as a petroleum reservoir engineer, focusing on subsurface flow modeling and simulation, which is grounded in integrated reservoir modeling for hydrocarbon reservoirs and carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) storage. During his time with the NOC, his research and business-as-usual (BAU) work centered on reservoir model history matching and optimization. At Stanford, he will continue his research with an emphasis on subsurface flow simulation, focusing on both closed-loop optimization and numerical solver development/optimization. He looks forward to engaging with world-class courses, exchanging ideas with leading energy specialists and enthusiasts, and ultimately contributing novel ideas back to both the energy-sector academia and industry.

Collett Litchard

BioCollett is a Reseach Administrator III, Research, Grants & Finance Manager, for the Department of Energy Science and Engineering at the Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability. Her role focuses on financial management of sponsored grants and gifts.
Previously, she worked with government grants in the public utilities and criminal justice fields. She is a nationally recognized grant professional with membership in the National Grants Management Association and the National Council of University Research Administrators. The motto "Improve the Process” drives the ongoing success in her career.
Collett's educational background lies in effective writing. She obtained a Bachelor’s of Writing and Rhetoric Studies from the University of Utah and a Master of Strategic Communication from Westminster College. In her free time, she enjoys making quilts, studying physics for fun, and writing children's books while rocking out to her favorite bands.
