Yiyu Wang
Postdoctoral Scholar, Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine
BioDr. Yiyu Wang is a T32 postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Anesthesiology, Stanford School of Medicine. Her research combines computational models and neuroimaging techniques to characterize the neural architecture underlying complex human experiences in emotion and pain. Her current work focuses on leveraging deep learning, foundation models, and explainable AI to improve neuroimaging-based markers as well as multi-modal markers of chronic pain.

Yu Wang
Graduate, Stanford Center for Professional Development
BioI’m Yu Wang, and I work at the intersection of AI and the physical world. I earned my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford, where I studied how to use light and data to better understand complex fuels. These days, I’m at NVIDIA, working on perception systems that help autonomous vehicles see and make sense of the world—even in the dark or in tough weather. I enjoy building things that are both innovative and practical, and I’m passionate about using AI to improve how machines interact with people and their environments.
