Terrance Yan

BioTerrance Yan is the Music Director & Conductor of the Stanford Medicine Orchestra and the Infinite Philharmonic, an ensemble he co-founded with his colleagues at Apple. He has also conducted orchestras across the United States, including the Arkansas Symphony, the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and the Collegium Musicum of New York. His artistic endeavors span a wide range of collaborative and socially engaged projects, including Violins of Hope with luthier Avshi Weinstein, Immunity at Stanford with cellist Joshua Roman, the Reller Family Concert Series at Stanford Hospital, and the Anatomical Donor Memorial Service at Stanford Memorial Church.
Terrance has served as a conducting fellow at numerous festivals and masterclasses, where he studied under conductors including Donald Portnoy, Geoffrey Robson, John Farrer, Markand Thakar, Diane Wittry, and Julius Williams. He serves on the Board of Directors of the International Conductors Guild and holds a Master of Music from San Francisco State University, an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an MS in Information Systems from Boston University.
