Fellow in Graduate Medical EducationBioAlex Maurice Dussaq, M.D., Ph.D., is a fellow in both the Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program and the Breast Pathology Fellowship. Dr. Dussaq holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Biochemistry from University of Nevada, Reno and an M.D./Ph.D. from University at Alabama, Birmingham. His Ph.D. focused on novel platform informatics and statistical analysis. He completed a Pathology residency at Stanford. Dr. Dussaq's research interests include the implementation and creation of workflow tools for surgical pathology and lab. He is particularly interested in API implementation and use in reporting and whole slide image management systems.

Fellow in Graduate Medical EducationBioDr Aly Elezaby is an advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology fellow at Stanford University School of Medicine and a postdoctoral fellow in the lab of Dr Daria Mochly-Rosen. He attended college at the University of Arizona, where he studied molecular and cellular biology with a research focus on mechanisms of genome instability. He graduated from the MD-PhD program at Boston University, with a dissertation focus on the effects of nutrient excess on mitochondrial function and oxidative stress in the heart. He completed residency training in internal medicine and cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Stanford as part of the Translational Investigator Program. His current research focus is on the signaling pathways that modulate cardiac ischemia-reperfusion injury, with a particular focus on regulation of metabolism and mitochondrial function.
