  Richard joined the OTL in December of 2024, as a Licensing Manager on the Life Sciences Team. Prior to joining Stanford, Richard ran his own company focused on helping start-ups in the life sciences sector to make their first steps into commercial operations and prior to that worked in sales for large life science companies like Fisher Scientific & Roche.
  
  Richard holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Heriot-Watt University, and a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology from the University of Aberdeen.

  BioNancy is responsible for license agreement entry and database, royalty distribution to all inventors and third parties, and equity related tasks. Nancy also leads a team of financial specialists for accounting and income – Nita and Gerard.
