Bio

Cerise Burns has a degree in Geology from Humboldt State University and an interest in all things natural sciences. She has a passion for education and student success and uses her experience to guide our students into roles of future scientists and educators.

Though I hold a degree in geology, I will not return phone calls regarding rock identification. However, I may respond via email if time permits and a photo is included. Please contact your regional rock hounding group or association for better assistance in rock identification.
