Bio

Dr. Chen-Yang Su is a Postdoctoral Scholar in Biomedical Data Science at Stanford University whose research focuses on AI agents, AI evaluation and reliability, and AI for science. He develops and evaluates foundation models and agentic AI systems for biomedical research and scientific discovery, with an emphasis on robust, reliable, and grounded AI systems.

He earned a PhD in Quantitative Life Sciences, an MSc in Computer Science from Mila – Quebec AI Institute, and a BSc in Computer Science and Biology, all at McGill University. He has contributed to more than 50 publications and has received numerous competitive research grants, fellowships, and awards.
