Bio

Dr. Hirt received his MD from the University of Berne (Switzerland) and PhD from the University of Basel (Switzerland). He completed his anatomic pathology and clinical pathology residency at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston. He is currently a hematopathology fellow at Stanford. His research and clinical interests include tumor immunology, characterization of the tumor microenvironment and in vitro disease modeling.
