Corey DeAngelis is a senior fellow at the American Federation for Children and a visiting fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution. He is also the executive director at Educational Freedom Institute, a senior fellow at Reason Foundation, an adjunct scholar at Cato Institute, and a board member at Liberty Justice Center.

He has been labeled the 'school choice evangelist' and called 'the most effective school choice advocate since Milton Friedman.' He is a regular on Fox News and frequently appears in The Wall Street Journal. He is the coauthor of a new book, Mediocrity: 40 Ways Government Schools are Failing Today's Students.

He was named on the Forbes 30 under 30 list for his work on education policy and received the Buckley Award from America’s Future. He additionally received the Future 40 Award from Maverick PAC and the OCPA Citizenship Award.

DeAngelis received his PhD in education policy from the University of Arkansas. He holds a BBA and an MA in economics from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
