Bio

Eric joinedt Stanford in January 2015 as VPUE's director of communications. His experience pulls from a diverse background in strategic communications, integrated marketing communications,writing, editing, brand development, graphic design, crisis communications, media relations, digital photography, and strategic planning. Prior to Stanford, Eric worked for Duke University, where he served as director of communications for DukeEngage, a global community engagement and service program. He previously served as communications director for Duke's Division of Student Affairs. Eric has also worked for universities in Texas and Iowa. Eric received his master's degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Iowa and his bachelor of arts in English from Cornell College.
