Bio


My work sits at the intersection of attosecond science, ultrafast spectroscopy, and accelerator-based photon science. I develop experimental methods that use extreme-ultraviolet and soft X-ray pulses to follow electronic and nuclear dynamics in matter on their natural timescales. I am particularly interested in electronic quantum coherence, ultrafast spin coupling, high-harmonic generation, and attosecond metrology at free-electron laser facilities.
Before joining SLAC, I worked across Europe, I was PhD student in Politecnico di Milano in Italy, visiting researcher at Lund University in Sweden, and postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zürich in Switzerland.
