Bio
Dr. Fengrong Yang is a Senior Data Analyst specializing in quantitative and qualitative research methods, data visualization, and statistical analysis. She is part of the RAPID Survey Project Team at the Stanford Center on Early Childhood, where she collaborates with team members to analyze large-scale survey data, develop research insights, and support early childhood education initiatives.
With a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Quantitative Methods from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Dr. Yang has extensive experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and research methodology. She manages and analyzes complex datasets, writes code to explore novel research questions, creates data visualizations, and prepares reports and manuscripts for publication. Additionally, she designs customized data reports for stakeholders, resolves data issues, and provides training and mentorship to analysts within SCEC and partnering organizations.
Proficient in R, SPSS, and Python, Dr. Yang applies a strong analytical approach to research design and data interpretation. Beyond her research contributions, she actively engages with the broader early childhood and education communities, contributing her expertise through peer review and professional collaboration.
