Gabriela Lomeli

Bio

Gabriela is a Propel Postdoctoral Scholar, co-advised by Professor Carolyn Bertozzi and Professor Polly Fordyce. Gabriela earned her PhD from the UC Berkeley – UC San Francisco Graduate Program in Bioengineering and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University. Her research is broadly centered on the development of microfluidic tools for protein analysis and protein engineering. At present, her main project seeks to engineer proteases to target mucins using a high-throughput microfluidic platform.
