Bio

Gail Fong is currently the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) Deputy Director for Operations at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory since 2015. Prior to her current position in LCLS, she has held management positions at SLAC since 2007 as Business Manager in the Operations Directorate, Infrastructure and Safety Directorate, and LCLS and Deputy Director in the Facilities Division. Before coming to SLAC, she worked at Stanford University for 15 years, primarily in the Facilities organization in various roles including Director of Finance and Facilities Management and Project Manager.

Gail Fong is currently the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) Deputy Director for Operations at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory since 2015. She oversees the LCLS Business Operations group, which includes Finance, Facilities, Administration, Operations Support, and the User Support. In addition, she serves on many SLAC-wide committees and is the liaison to the Lab Operations divisions.
