Bio

I'm a computational biologist training toward a career at the intersection of genomics and cancer biology. I completed my Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at UC Santa Cruz, where I built deep learning models linking chromatin structure to RNA processing using long-read sequencing data. I like breaking down complex biomedical problems into small, tractable engineering questions, and I'm especially motivated by building tools that help clinicians move toward personalized cancer therapy. Outside of work, I love grocery shopping and cooking.
