Bio

Jeanne Lambin is a facilitator, writer, coach, and artist. She currently teaches Outdoor Odyssey: Embracing Improvisation and Storytelling on the Stanford campus and Playful Mindfulness: A Journey to Everyday Confidence, Calm, and Connection with Ted DesMaisons.

As the founder of the Human Imagination Project, Jeanne is dedicated to unlocking creative potential through applied improvisation, storytelling, and place-based learning. She has designed and led imaginative workshops for corporations, universities, and cultural initiatives across the US, Europe, and Asia. Her sessions have been described as "amazing," "powerful," and "great fun."

At the core of her work is the belief that improvisation, mindfulness, and storytelling are powerful tools for transformation. Her "Improvisation for Transformation" methodology helps people align their time, attention, and imagination to live with more presence, purpose, and possibility. These creative interventions shift mindsets, reconnect participants to their innate imagination and facilitate profound insights.

Jeanne received a BS in anthropology from Loyola University Chicago and an MS in historic preservation from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is a certified Designing Your Life Coach. With a background spanning archaeology, historic preservation, higher education, and the arts, Jeanne brings a wealth of knowledge and a kind and welcoming approach to her teaching. She excels at creating insightful yet playful experiences, making even seemingly dry subjects engaging adventures.

Participants can expect fresh perspectives, self-discoveries, and practical tools for navigating life's uncertainties with greater presence, possibility, and courage.
