Jennifer joined the E-IPER team in August 2011 and has over 15 years of student services experience at Stanford University, UC Berkeley, and UC Santa Barbara. As E-IPER's Assistant Director, Jennifer's focus is on the PhD program and includes management of the admissions cycle, site visits, orientation, degree progress, enrichment programming, student funding, website content, and Commencement. Additionally, Jennifer serves as the E-IPER liaison with central offices at Stanford as well as with the School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences.
Jennifer has an MA in Education-Higher Education Administration from San Jose State University and a BA in Law & Society with a Minor in Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara. During her senior year at UC Santa Barbara, Jennifer was lucky enough to sail around the world and visit 10 countries in 100 days with the Semester at Sea program.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys hiking, traveling, baking, and volunteering at the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA and at Pound Puppy Rescue.
