Bio
Jing Kuang is a founder and venture capitalist focused on consumer AI.
She is Co-Founder of Cresca, a consumer AI company developing private memory layer for professional relationships. She is also the Founding Partner of Y Plus Ventures, an early-stage venture firm investing in consumer AI startups at the angel, pre-seed, and seed stages. At Y Plus Ventures, Jing backs founders building AI-native products that can reshape how people live, create, connect, learn, and grow.
Before founding Cresca and Y Plus Ventures, Jing served as President and CEO of Yongjia Capital, where she oversaw more than $50 billion in cross-border M&A globally. Her work spanned deal structuring, due diligence, strategic integration, and investment execution across market cycles and geographies.
Jing is deeply engaged in the Stanford ecosystem. She is the Founder and Instructor of the RootedIn VC Fellowship at Stanford, where she teaches venture capital investment, deal sourcing, decision-making, and portfolio management. She also serves as a Teaching Facilitator for Executive Education at the Stanford d.school and has been a Guest Lecturer at the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Peking University. Jing is also President of Stanford GSB Venture Capital Alumni Chapter, and has served as Co-President of Stanford GSB Asian Alumni Chapter and the Investment Committee Member for Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs.
Jing holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Peking University.
