Engineering Leader with 10 years of management experience leading R&D at Carbon, a 3D printing company that grew to 500 employees. Built an R&D team that solved the complex multivariate 3D printing process culminating with the launch of the first ever end-use 3D manufactured products (e.g., Adidas midsoles and Specialized bike saddles).
Scientist passionate about translating scientific discovery into products. Lead author on Carbon’s Science publication that brought the company out of stealth mode in 2015. Patents and publications in the fields of optical materials and modeling, X-ray science, photopolymerization, materials characterization, and charge transport in semiconducting polymers.
Current Role at Stanford
DeSimone Lab in the Department of Radiology. Applying microscale 3D printing to applications ranging from drug delivery to microelectronics packaging.
