Bio
Katie Frey is the Data Curator for Programmatic Access, part of Research Data Services at Stanford University Libraries. In this role, Katie is involved in developing best practices for API usage to support researchers on campus. She is responsible for helping researchers with creating, managing, transforming, analyzing, preserving, and making accessible their own data.
Prior to joining Stanford, Katie was the Assistant Head & Digital Technology Development Librarian at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian. While there, she focused on enhancing access to information, especially new and novel types of information resources such as unstructured datasets, historical astronomical literature, and new tech devices.
