Bio

Krista Koskivirta is a doctoral candidate at Stanford Law School researching antitrust and competition law. Her doctoral work focuses on market definition in merger control regulation. Krista's JSM dissertation (Stanford Law School, 2026) used computational methods to analyze the UK Competition and Markets Authority's post-Brexit approach to merger control. Her research draws on her prior experience as an antitrust associate in the London and Washington DC offices of major international law firms, advising on merger control matters across numerous jurisdictions. Before that, she studied at Oxford University and the London School of Economics and Political Science.
