Bio

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University’s Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence (HAI) institute, working on the AI Index team. With a background in Finance and FinTech, I hold a PhD in Systems Science from IMT Lucca. My doctoral research focused on harnessing artificial intelligence - particularly cutting-edge NLP methods - to build tools for climate-risk assessment and to explore how AI diffuses through and shapes society. Outside of my research, I am a sailor and a volunteer Red Cross ambulance operator.
