Bio

Louie is a Research Associate in the Technology Ethics & Policy Rising Scholars Program at the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society. Louie supports the Embedded Ethics program, investigating the effectiveness of teaching ethics in computer science education. More specifically, he is interested in how underrepresented communities are connecting with ethics when building computing technologies. Louie is a first-generation graduate from UC Berkeley, where he received his bachelor's degree in Data Science with a concentration in Philosophy.
