Bio

Mathias Sarkez-Knudsen is an MD, ESRS-certified somnologist, and PhD student from Denmark affiliated with Zealand University Hospital and the University of Copenhagen. His research focuses on excessive daytime sleepiness in obstructive sleep apnea and on developing electrophysiological biomarkers of sleepiness using ultra-long-term EEG and digital phenotyping. He is currently a Visiting Student Researcher in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University.
