Bio


Matteo Cartura is a postdoctoral researcher in cardiovascular science, focusing on the clinical association between genetic variants identified in GWAS studies and the pathophysiology of atherosclerosis. He obtained his PhD at the Institute for Vascular Signalling, with a research focus on the immunological functions of endothelial cells in atherosclerosis. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biology and Biotechnology.
