Bio


Maxime Griot, M.D. PhD, is a research scientist at the intersection of medicine and frontier artificial intelligence. Dr. Griot studied computer science at Université d'avignon in France before obtaining his M.D. in from Université catholique de Louvain in Belgium. Following his M.D. he pursued a PhD in computer science and medicine at the Université catholique de Louvain.

Dr. Griot's work spans the complete pipeline of medical LLM development, from requirements engineering, training, evaluation, implementation, and post-market surveillance. He notably created Chopper, a chatbot intergated in the Epic EHR at the university hospital Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc, serving more than 2000 users and hundreds of thousands of requests.
