Bio


Mauro Messias is a Master of Laws candidate in Law, Science & Technology at Stanford University (USA) and holds a Master of Laws from the University of California, Los Angeles (USA), with work experience at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office (USA). He is the author of a book on “ANPP” cited by the Brazilian Supreme Court (STF) and the developer of the “AppCrim” AI system, which won first place in the CNMP Award. He has delivered lectures on AI at the National Justice Council (CNJ) and the National Congress of the Public Prosecutor’s Office. He also serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Legal Studies of the Brazilian Superior Court of Justice (STJ), and, on behalf of CONAMP, drafted petitions and briefs before STF and STJ. A native of Pará, Brazil, he is a Public Prosecutor in the State of Pará.
