As a 1L at Stanford Law School, I am excited to pursue high-stakes complex litigation. Before joining SLS, I worked as a paralegal at a trial law firm, where I drafted complaints, motions, demand letters, mediation/trial briefs, and liability memos. Though I initially joined the firm as part of the Pre-Litigation department, I eventually transitioned to the Litigation team. My experience across both departments equips me with an understanding of case development. Prior to my role as a paralegal, I interned at Bay Area Legal Aid, where I assisted over 1,000 pro se litigants with various civil legal matters. In recognition of my academic excellence and community service, the Cal Alumni Association honored me as a 2x Leadership Award recipient.
Extending my work ethic from the firm to the classroom, I graduated summa cum laude from UC Berkeley with a cumulative 4.00 GPA. Through UC Berkeley's Honors Sociology program, I wrote a socio-legal thesis titled "Litigating on the Public Radar: Class Action Accessibility & Transparency in California's Northern District." This thesis won the Departmental Citation, the highest honor awarded to one graduating senior for best undergraduate research and outstanding academic achievement. In addition to my coursework, I served as a Legal Research Fellow at Berkeley Law’s Civil Justice Research Initiative, where I briefed SCOTUS cases and analyzed settlement distribution in federal class actions. I also led as President of UC Berkeley’s Latine Pre-Law Society. In my free time, I volunteered at Legal Aid at Work, assisting pro se litigants with employment law matters.
