Nicolas is a postdoctoral fellow within the Bits & Watts Initiative in the Stanford Precourt Institute for Energy. His current work focuses on understanding the on-going fundamental changes affecting the electricity industry, and the extent to which evolutions in market design and regulation are needed to cope with, or foster, such changes. Prior to coming back to Stanford, Nicolas served as an analyst at the French Energy Regulatory Commission within the electricity transmission department.
