Nimunniasia Hengkaul

Bio

Nimunniasia (Asia) Hengkaul is devoted to advancing health equity and uplifting underserved populations through advocacy and leadership. Asia has worked across clinical, academic, and community spaces to address disparities in healthcare access, mental health, and patient representation, especially for low-income and underrepresented communities that lack resources.

She will pursue a B.S. in Human Biology at Stanford University, with plans to earn an M.D. and return to the Central Valley to serve medically underserved communities as a physician and public health leader. Her long-term goal is to integrate clinical care with groundbreaking research and holistic perspectives to improve health outcomes and combat healthcare inequities among patients.
