  • Faculty Events to FAAS Migration (2015-2016), Stanford University School of Medicine IRT

    The Faculty Events (FE) application is used by SoM OAA and Faculty Compensation organizations to manage the appointment and compensation for the entire SoM faculty population while the Faculty Academic Staff Appointments (FASA) application is used by the Provost's office to manage the information for professoriate positions across the university. This results in duplicate data for the SoM professoriate that must be entered, maintained and reconciled.

    The goal of this project is to:

    Enhance the FAAS application to support OAA and Faculty Compensation's current FE functionality;
    Migrate all current and historical appointment and compensation data for non-professoriate faculty from FE to FAAS;
    Reconcile and correct professoriate appointment information between the two platforms;
    Test and amend as necessary all downstream applications that feed from FE data.

    SoM-IRT will work closely with AS to design, test and approve all functional changes as they become available in an effort to reduce the development timeline as much as possible.

  • IRT Service Desk Console (2015-2016), Stanford University School of Medicine IRT

    A web page that pulls together a set of disparate information about a user that can be quickly searched when a person calls the service desk or a support person is about to go and meet a person requiring help. The page would allow them to get a 360 degree view of the person information so we can efficiently address multiple issues with one encounter.

  • CME Tracker Upgrade (2013-2014), Stanford Center for Continuing Medical Education

    Implemented a third party Continuing Medical Education (CME) Tracking system. This package has 3 components that allow SCCME staff to publish events on their web page, allows learners to create and maintain their personal profiles as well as register and pay for events, and allows SCCME staff to manage events, learner registrations and credit, and report to the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME).
