Bio
Ramrada Lekwuttikarn, MD is a subspecialty-trained pediatric dermatologist and clinical investigator in the Division of Pediatric Dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. She serves as a Research Scientist and Clinical Instructor, with clinical and research expertise focused on vascular anomalies, genetic skin disorders, and inflammatory skin diseases.
Dr. Lekwuttikarn received her medical degree from Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand, where she also completed pediatric residency training. She subsequently completed fellowship training in pediatric dermatology at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, followed by clinical research fellowships at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Stanford University. Prior to joining Stanford faculty, she served as Chief of the Pediatric Dermatology Division and Assistant Professor at Ramathibodi Hospital.
Her research centers on genotype-guided therapies, targeted molecular treatments, and translational clinical trials for complex pediatric dermatologic conditions. She serves as a sub-investigator on multiple Phase II and III clinical trials, including studies investigating MEK inhibitors, PI3K pathway inhibitors, topical statins, and novel biologic therapies for vascular anomalies, epidermolysis bullosa, and inflammatory skin diseases. Her work has been presented at international conferences including the Society for Pediatric Dermatology and the ISSVA World Congress, and published in peer-reviewed journals such as JAMA Dermatology, The Journal of Investigative Dermatology, Pediatrics, and The Journal of Clinical Investigation.
