Rizwaan is a second-year medical student pursuing an MD/MPH dual degree at East Tennessee State University. Bringing a strong quantitative background to clinical medicine, Rizwaan holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Dedicated to operating at the intersection of engineering and healthcare, Rizwaan is focused on the research and development of novel medical devices, particularly within the field of interventional cardiology.

Beyond clinical training, Rizwaan is the founder of Parleii LLC, an educational hardware startup, demonstrating a commitment to scalable, tech-driven solutions. As a participant in the 2026 Stanford Cardiovascular Institute Summer Research Program, Rizwaan aims to bridge the gap between engineering innovation, direct patient care, and broader public health outcomes.
