Bio
Dr. Roy Collins, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. He serves as an Attending Sports Psychiatrist and conducts mental performance research with the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance, supporting athletes across collegiate, professional, and international levels. Dr. Collins is the founder of the nation’s first Sports and Performance Psychiatry Fellowship, a pioneering program that provides advanced training in athlete mental health and performance psychiatry. His work bridges clinical expertise, lived experience, elite athletic background, and a commitment to advancing science in service of mental wellness and human performance.
