Bio

Dr. Shire Lynn Beach is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiology at Stanford. She completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford before attending medical school at UCSF. She completed her internal medicine residency at UCLA and then returned to Stanford for her general cardiology fellowship, followed by advanced training in interventional echocardiography and cardiac MRI. Dr. Beach is a board-certified cardiologist with specialized expertise in cardiac imaging and additional board certifications in adult echocardiography and cardiac MRI. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. Her clinical and research interests include valvular heart failure, echocardiographic guidance of catheter-based valve interventions, and aortic disorders. Her work has been presented at multiple national and international conferences and has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and the Journal of the American Heart Association.
