Bio


Sydney Ng is a communications and design professional with an M.A. in Communication Studies and a B.A. in Design Studies from San Jose State University. Her academic background touches on applications of digital media in organizational and intercultural communication, media and entertainment studies, graphic design, and art history.

Previously, she worked as an HR Specialist/Office Manager at Denodo Technologies, a data virtualization company, and as a Digital Communications Specialist at SPUR (San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association), a urban public policy non-profit.

Sydney is interested in learning how technology can affect communications protocol within organizations, a curiosity that will fuel her work at Stanford University.
